When can I make a site visit to The Barn?

The Barn offers tours based on your scheduling needs.  Please email or phone our office to schedule a tour.

How do I get to The Barn?

The directions to The Barn are located on our website.  Please use these directions as many GPS systems do recognize our address.

Does The Barn have space for both the wedding ceremony and the wedding reception?

Yes.  The Barn offers a variety of options for your wedding ceremony.  The Barn also offers a 2,400 square foot covered pavilion for your reception. The reception pavilion measures 40’ x 60’.

What is the width of The Barn doors?

The Barn doors are approximately 6’ wide.  There are two doors each at the front and at the back of The Barn.

What are the rental fees for The Barn and what is included in the rental fee?

Please contact The Barn for more information on rental rates for your specific event.  Rental of The Barn includes: 

  • Use of The Barn and the Farm Grounds for the reserved event day (including Bride’s Dressing Room, Groom’s Loft, Restrooms, and Patio);
  • Access to The Barn from Thursday (before the event) through Monday (after the event) for decoration and clean-up;
  • Use of The Barn and Farm Grounds for Engagement or Bridal photography;
  • 200 natural-color, wooden, padded chairs;
  • Variety of tables to accommodate 200 guests   
  • Farm-themed decorations throughout The Barn;
  • Custom-made fire pit;
  • Parking Attendants provided for your wedding ceremony and reception; The Barn does not allow valet parking
Does The Barn provide a wedding director?

The Barn does not provide a director for your wedding.

How can I check on availability?

How can I secure a date for rental of The Barn?

To secure a date at The Barn, we require a complete contract as well as a deposit equal to half of the rental fee.  The deposit is nonrefundable within 8 months of the event.  The balance is due on the day of the rehearsal.

What forms of payment does The Barn accept?

The Barn accepts personal checks, business checks, and cash. We do not accept credit cards.

What are the time restrictions at The Barn?

Rental of The Barn includes access to The Barn from Thursday (before the event) through Monday (after the event) for decoration and clean-up. 

Does The Barn have a sound policy?

No; however, due to a Jackson County noise ordinance, amplified music must be discontinued at midnight.

How many people can The Barn accommodate?

The optimal size for events held at The Barn is 200. 

Does The Barn require use of its preferred caterer?

No. The Barn is open to the caterer of your choice.  We encourage caterers to visit The Barn prior to the event.

What is the alcohol policy at The Barn?

If alcoholic beverages are served at any time, Law Enforcement personnel are required to be present (at renter’s expense).  Law Enforcement personnel are required to be in uniform and may not participate as a guest during the event.  Alcohol must be served by a licensed server (self-service is never permissible).  The Server may not participate as a guest during the event.  The Barn does not provide or take responsibility for the renter’s alcohol.  No one under the age of 21 is allowed to drink alcohol on The Barn grounds.

Where can guests park at The Barn and what are the parking fees?

The Barn provides Parking Attendants for your wedding ceremony and reception. The Barn does not provide valet parking.

Is The Barn heated and air-conditioned?

The Bride’s Room and restrooms are heated and air-conditioned. 

Is there electricity at the Oak Tree site?

Electricity is not available at the Oak Tree location. Options include acoustic music or generators for musical equipment.
